History
The Ohio Association of Litter Prevention & Recycling Professionals (OALPRP) is a statewide organization dedicated to professional development by providing leadership, training and networking opportunities to its members.
OALPRP held its initial organizational meeting on May 6, 1988. Since that beginning, the Association has steadily grown in membership, activities, and opportunities. All members are benefited by the sharing of information and experiences, which is done informally from office to office and in structured sessions such as workshops and conferences held each year in various parts of the state.
Members have close ties with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Recycling and Litter Prevention. Both the Division and OALPRP share a common goal of building relationships to more effectively serve our constituents in our communities.
