Charting a New Course

The Ohio Association of Litter Prevention & Recycling Professionals  (OALPRP) was formed on the foundation to provide to its membership the opportunities to develop professionalism, to provide training that will improve the proficiency of the members; to develop networking opportunities; and to cooperate with agencies and organizations that have missions consistent with the mission of the association. Thanks to the Conference Committee and the vision of Past President Jim Oswald the aforementioned responsibilities were approved, and the Board continues to move forward in chartering a new course for our membership. One of the primary goals that came from a strategic planning retreat for the association was to continue to focus on providing quality conferences and training to our membership.

Interested in Hosting a Conference

OALPRP is always looking for various location to hold conferences. Being a host community is a great way to show case your program and your community. OALPRP members benefit from learning how programs differ from each other as well as seeing the professional efforts being made by the industries and corporation in your community. As many members already know what works for one community may or may not work for the next so the sharing of information, activities, museums, agencies, etc. is an excellent opportunity for the host community, conference attendees and affiliates of OALPRP.
